Photographer with purpose
A largely self-taught photographer, I have had an interest in photography since I got my hands on my parents' film camera when I was about 10 years old.
Photography combines my love for travel, my interest in promoting social responsibility, human rights and social equality, and my desire to ensure that every voice and story, no matter how big or how small, is heard.
Life documentary
Every moment is special, no matter how mundane or extraordinary. Don’t let it pass you by.
Social documentary
Working with not-for-profits to capture every person’s story, no matter their age, gender, race, culture, or socioeconomic background.
What my clients say…
“I have been lucky enough to work with her for over 4 years and what I have from this is a beautiful narrative of our story.
And they’re beautiful! They’re emotional, they’re inclusive, they’re celebratory and they’re truly representative of who are are.”
— Jen
“Simone took photographs of me and my family. Trying to wrangle a 3 year old and a 6 month old baby is no easy task but Simone was so accommodating with the time. She is also really easy going and great with the kids, she made everyone feel comfortable and it showed in the photos.
— Connie
“We had the pleasure of working with Simone on two occasions to capture our important family moments. She made us feel comfortable and we knew and trusted that she would photograph those moments in a way we couldn’t imagine was possible. We now have photos that we can forever cherish.”
