Giving voice to the voiceless…

Aequitas is the Latin concept of justice, equality, fairness and is the origin of the English word “equity”.

I believe that every single person regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion or social status has that magical moment just waiting to be captured.

Having volunteered and worked in the health and social sector for over 15 years, I have found photography to be an effective medium to give a voice to the voiceless. Images are a powerful tool to raise awareness of social issues, and working with not-for-profits (NFPs) helps elevate the voices of those they are serving.

I have been involved in a number of NFPs and social causes through photography including Heartfelt, Women’s March on Sydney, New Humans of Australia, Global Sisters, The Village Project and Oxfam.
